Golnar Narimani is doctor of philosophy from Tehran University of Art. She has studied philosophy of art and philosophy at Charles University of Prague, University of Wuppertal and Tehran University of Art. Currently, she is a PhD student in philosophy at University of Grenoble-Alpes and University of Fribourg. Her main fields of interest include eighteenth century British and German aesthetics, Kantian philosophy and aesthetics, French phenomenology and aesthetics. She is editor and translator at Ney Publications in Iran and has worked as chief editor at Herfeh Honarmand art magazine. Her current project is focused on the question of moral autonomy in Kant’s philosophy and in the philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas. In this project she tries to disentangle the relation between the limits and meanings of moral autonomy and autonomy of aesthetics in the philosophies of Kant and Levinas.
