His research interests lie at the intersection between Aesthetics and Philosophy of Mind. Following a phenomenologically informed approach, he aims at clarifying the nature of our experience of pictures. In particular, he is interested in questions like the following: how is the pictorial space constituted? Are imagination and perception both involved in the process? What is the role (usually overlooked) of the subject&#8217;s sensorimotor apparatus when looking at pictures?
