Doris Durán Napolitano is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the #PopHealthLab at the University of Fribourg. She is an epidemiologist and recent PhD graduate from McGill University. Her research focuses on epidemiology, chronic disease mortality, and social inequalities in health, with particular attention to the use of multiple cause of death data and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her current research at the #PopHealthLab is within the SNSF grant 10002347: “Health inequalities over the lifecycle in Switzerland before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
