Axelle Braggion, MD

Axelle Braggion, MD, is a PhD student at the #PopHealthLab at the University of Fribourg. She holds a Federal Diploma of Human Medicine and an MD from the University of Lausanne. During this thesis, she studied the risk of unscheduled cesarean delivery among nulliparous advanced maternal age women at term. Other past projects included the relationship between SARS-CoV-2 infection and indoor air quality, and the effects of long COVID in psychiatric patients. Her PhD project focuses on early-onset cancers and attitudes towards cancer screening.
