Yekaterina Prutyanova

Yekaterina (Katya) is a PhD candidate in Public Health Epidemiology at the Institute of Primary Health Care (BIHAM), University of Bern. Her doctoral research explores mental health and the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions among vulnerable populations, with a particular focus on addressing intersecting social determinants of health. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Geneva. Katya’s PhD is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation through the grant “Evaluating Primary Suicide Prevention in Adolescents with Risk Factors (ESPAIR)”.
