Stefano Tancredi, MD
Stefano Tancredi, MD, is a public health specialist and PhD student at the #PopHealthLab. Graduated from the University of L’Aquila (Italy), he trained in public health at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. During his residency, he has worked as part of the Medical Director’s staff at the Teaching Hospital of Modena and as a public health physician at the Public Health Department of the AUSL of Modena. His PhD project focuses on population health monitoring and surveillance bias. Specifically, he aims to provide a clear and comprehensive definition of surveillance bias and to estimate its impact focusing on two conditions, that is, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and prostate cancer.
