Drinbardha Elshani

Drinbardha Elshani is a MSc student in Experimental Biomedical Research, specializing in Tissue Degeneration and Regeneration, at the University of Fribourg and completing her Masters thesis at the #PopHealthLab. She holds a BSc in Health Science from the University of Toronto, Canada. She will work alongside Stéphane Cullati, PhD and Rose van der Linden, PhD to research the effect of life course conditions on the risk of developing cancer in the advanced stages of life through investigating diverse mechanisms leading to site-specific cancers in older age groups, encompassing dietary habits , physical activity patterns and engagement in cancer screening initiatives with the use and management of the U.K. Biobank.
