Stéphanie Baggio, PhD
Prof Stéphanie Baggio, PhD is a senior epidemiologist. She is senior lecturer at the University of Fribourg. Stéphanie holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Paris-Descartes (France), an MCs in Statistics from the University of Grenoble (France), and a Habilitation in Primary Health Care. Stéphanie leads and supervises projects focusing on health inequities, vulnerable populations, and mental health, including addictive behaviors. She uses a wide range of statistical methods to analyze data from medical and psychological studies and she has extensive experience teaching methodology, statistics, and epidemiology. She is also the Head of the Statistics and Methodology at the Institute of Primary Health Care (BIHAM) at the University of Bern, where she leads projects to improve access to health care and promote rehabilitation in vulnerable populations.
