She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Sciences with a secondary discipline in Sports Sciences (Minor) from the University of Lausanne and a Master of Arts in Social Sciences specializing in Social Problems and Social Policy from the University of Fribourg. This training in the fields of social and health policy has enabled her to combine her academic knowledge with various jobs\/internships at the same time. Over the course of her studies and work experience she has developed an interest in public health.
