She holds a&nbsp;dentistry degree from Universidad Finis Terrae in Chile and a Master&#8217;s in Public Health with a specialization in epidemiology, from Universidad de Chile. Additionally, she is completing the final stage of her PhD in epidemiology at McGill University in Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her dissertation incorporated multiple cause of death techniques to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in cause-specific mortality in Switzerland, Brazil, Colombia and Canada.
