Saman\u2019s work focuses on health inequities and healthy ageing across the lifecourse, and on advancing methods in social and lifecourse epidemiology. Her research has been published in leading epidemiology and ageing journals, such as <em>Nature Aging<\/em>, <em>International Journal of Epidemiology<\/em>, and <em>Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health<\/em>, and has informed national and international policy documents, including those from the WHO and the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing. She serves on the editorial boards of the <em>International Journal of Epidemiology<\/em> and the <em>Journal of Gerontology: Medical Sciences<\/em>. Saman is a Deputy Director of the International Longevity Centre \u2013 Australia (ILC-Australia) and a member of the ILC Global Alliance, as well as the Sydney Health Partners Geriatric Medicine Leadership Team.
