He holds an MSc in Epidemiology, a BScH in Life Sciences, and a Certificate in Business from Queen\u2019s University. Nicholas\u2019s research focuses on cardiovascular epidemiology, chronic disease prevention, sports medicine, causal inference, and the social determinants of health. His work has resulted in more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals such as The British Medical Journal, Canadian Journal of Cardiology, and British Journal of Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Trainee Committee and the Heart &amp; Stroke Young Leaders Committee, and serves on the editorial boards of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology and CJC Open.
