He is a\u00a0full professor of population health at the University of Fribourg and adjunct professor at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/epi-biostat-occh\/arnaud-chiolero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">School of Global and Population Health of McGill University<\/a>. He is the director of the Population Health Laboratory (<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.unifr.ch\/pophealthlab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">#PopHealthLab<\/a>)\u00a0at the University of Fribourg and academic co-director of the Swiss School of Public Health (<a href=\"https:\/\/ssphplus.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">SSPH+<\/a>).\u00a0Initially trained as a medical doctor (MD) at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unil.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">University of Lausanne<\/a>\u00a0in Switzerland, he trained in epidemiology at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nihes.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Erasmus University Rotterdam<\/a>\u00a0in the Netherlands (MSc) and at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">McGill University<\/a>\u00a0in Montreal in Canada (PhD).
