He is a member of the Foundation Board of the Swiss School of Public Health (<a href=\"https:\/\/ssphplus.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SSPH+<\/a>) and board member of the European Society of Health and Medical Sociology (<a href=\"https:\/\/eshms.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">ESHMS<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He trained in social sciences, philosophy and sociology at the Universities of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/ssp\/en\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Lausanne<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unige.ch\/lettres\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Geneva<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/shs.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr\/en\/l-ufr-shs\/departments\/departement-de-sociologie-193603.kjsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Grenoble<\/a>, and obtained a doctorate (PhD) in the sociology of health and the life course from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unige.ch\/sciences-societe\/socio\/recherche\/irs\/index\/sociology-research-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">University of Geneva<\/a> and the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Life Course Research (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.centre-lives.ch\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">LIVES<\/a>).
