Chinese-language science fiction is everywhere nowadays, but how did it get there?

Spanning in focus from short stories to theme parks, from films to conventions and fan communities, this project examines the recent rise in popularity of Chinese-language SF worldwide by zeroing in on the linkages between science-fictional imagination, its networks of discursive and material circulation, and the geographies generated therein.
