Intercantonal caregivers' day
Since 2011 in Switzerland, 30 October has been declared intercantonal caregivers' day, recognising their contribution and commitment.
On this occasion, organisations work to take part in events and raise awareness about caregivers to the community. The day is celebrated with a focus on information, visibility and slogans. Messages, meetings and other free events take place for the community. It is also an opportunity for caregivers to meet and discuss their daily activities.
