Risk and safety analysis
The Occupational Safety and Health Department is empowered to carry out a risk analysis of all your working conditions and working environment. Certain physical, chemical or biological agents can interfere with the development of the foetus, as of the first few weeks of pregnancy; that is why the risk analysis must be carried out as early as possible, as well as if you are trying to become pregnant.
Information and contact point:
In order to be able to carry out a risk analysis, you can contact the Occupational Safety and Health manager, personally or via support persons, who will guarantee you discretion and confidentiality. You will then be asked to complete the risk identification document opposite (available in three languages).

Faculty of science and medicine
In accordance with the policy on protecting women during pregnancy and nursing of the Faculty of Science and Medicine, pregnant or nursing persons, both employees and students, must not be exposed to conditions that pose a risk to them or their child.
As an employee, you just jointly complete the following form with your line manager and return it to the Personnel Department as mentioned in the document.

The following federal laws and orders specify the restrictions on the work of pregnant or nursing person, in order to protect their health and that of their child. They are issued by the Federal Department of Economy, Training and Research (DEFR), as well as the Federal Council (FC).
